Battle of Polytopia FAQ

This is a collection of the most frequently asked questions about t the mobile strategy game The Battle of Polytopia.

Q: Can I transfer my player data from an iOS to an Android phone?

A: It is not possible at the moment. You are logged in using either Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android so they are completely separate identities.

Q: Hey! I Purchased a tribe but now I can't play with it!

A: Not to worry, they are around there somewhere.


On iOS just tap the "restore purchases" link at the bottom of the tribe picker screen.


On Android

In a recent update we enforced a demand from Google that players can only access purchases that were made using the currently logged in Google Play account (thats the one you use in the "Google Play" App where you get apps, not the one you use to log in to Polytopia)


So open the "Google Play" App (not Polytopia) and make sure you are logged in with the same account that made the purchases (you can see the account email on your recept from Google).


Q: I bought a tribe by misstake and want a refund!

A: You can usually get a refund from the actual seller (Apple or Google) within 24 hours. After that you are screwed :/
